BeOak by Javorina: A New Name for an 80-Year Legacy

4/10/2026

For almost eight decades, Javorina has been shaping premium furniture from solid oak in Spišská Belá, Slovakia. Now, that tradition is stepping forward under a new international name: BeOak by Javorina.

This change marks an important moment in the brand’s evolution. As the company continues to grow beyond its home markets, the new name brings greater clarity to customers abroad while staying closely connected to the heritage, craftsmanship, and trust Javorina has built since 1947.

A name that says more

What is changing is the name and visual identity. What remains the same is everything that matters most: the ownership, the people behind the brand, the production in Slovakia, and the uncompromising quality of every piece.

The decision to introduce BeOak by Javorina came from a simple need. While the name Javorina has long been well established in the Czech and Slovak markets, it was often difficult for international customers to pronounce or understand. Some even assumed the brand worked with maple (Javor in slovak and czech) rather than oak.

BeOak expresses the essence of the brand more directly. It points to the material at the heart of everything the company creates: timeless, design-led furniture made exclusively from solid oak.

Growing beyond home markets

The rebrand is part of a wider international expansion. Over the past year, the brand has already introduced BeOak abroad, including new showrooms in Liechtenstein and Bend, Oregon.

In the years ahead, the company plans to continue growing with additional points of sale in Switzerland, Germany, Austria, and selected locations closer to home. Alongside this expansion, BeOak by Javorina is also preparing new collections and further collaborations with leading designers, including Studio Vrtiška & Žák, Tomas Kral, Lucie Koldova, or Boris Klimek.

Today, the brand’s portfolio includes beds, tables, dressers, bookcases, seating, and sculptural standalone pieces, including designs created through advanced 3D shaping of solid oak.

Rooted under the Tatra mountains

Even as the name evolves, the roots remain firmly in place. Production continues in Spišská Belá, where the company has been based from the very beginning.

From locally sourced certified oak to final assembly in the customer’s home, BeOak by Javorina maintains control over the entire process. This close connection to material, craft, and production is one of the reasons the brand has earned international recognition over the years.

Its furniture has found homes not only in Slovakia and the Czech Republic, but also in Germany, Austria, Liechtenstein, and the United States.

The same values, seen more clearly

At its core, BeOak by Javorina remains what it has always been: a brand built on craftsmanship, precision, timeless design, and a deep respect for oak.

The new name simply makes that story easier to understand wherever in the world it is told.
