European oak, selected for its strength and longevity, is at the heart of our production, where thanks to the careful selection of raw materials, our own months-long drying process, and subsequent processing, we ensure exceptional quality. Emphasis on using the best parts of the tree allows each product to be a unique masterpiece.
The perfection of our products is also enhanced by a wide range of upholstery options – whether it's the Woolland or Fenno series, each offers high durability and water repellency, adding a final aesthetic and functional dimension to our products.
For regular cleaning and care, we recommend wiping the furniture with a dry and soft cotton cloth. Microfiber cloths are not suitable for treating oiled surfaces because they affect the oiled surface like fine sandpaper. Lightly soiled surfaces can be treated with common preparations containing waxes and oils, e.g. Pronto for wood, when we follow the instructions on the product (it is important that the surface is subsequently wiped dry). Oiled surfaces do not provide as much protection against moisture and mechanical damage as lacquered ones. So, for example, when liquids or food are spilled, it is recommended to wipe off the dirt as soon as possible.
Our chairs and benches (except for the KA series) come with two types of glides, allowing you to easily adapt them to your needs.
The glides for hard floors are already mounted on the product, so you can immediately start using the chairs or benches without worrying about scratching wooden or laminate surfaces. Additionally, the package includes glides for soft floor coverings, such as carpets.
Changing the glides is simple: lift the edge of the glide with a flat screwdriver or the dull side of a table knife, and snap on the new glide based on your floor type.
The elegant curves of the chair add softness and visual lightness to the interior, which can soften the austerity of modern rooms. TUBA can serve not only as a practical dining chair, but thanks to its aesthetic qualities also as a solitary piece for the bedroom or living room, where with a throw blanket it creates a cosy corner for relaxation.
Vrtiška & Žák
Roman Vrtiška & Vladimír Žák graduated together from the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague and became part of a new generation of Czech designers with a broad creative scope. Their work spans architecture, product design, and graphic design. Among their many projects, they designed the HRIB tables, which contributed to a nomination for the Czech Grand Design Award in 2018.
Their portfolio also includes a variety of designs, from the VETVA shelves and the timeless LUNA clock to the challenging task of creating their own chairs.

In most cases we rely on our proven standard range. Any custom design is subject to a feasibility assessment. Our broad expertise has enabled us to deliver complete interior fit-outs for both residential and commercial spaces in recent years.
Solid oak is richly textured; grain and colour vary from log to log and even within a single log (heart- vs. sapwood, radial vs. tangential cuts). Drying and finishing can accentuate these contrasts.
All visible parts of our furniture are solid oak. Some parts of our products, such as cabinet backs or drawer bottoms are made from oak-veneered MDF for stability. The centre beam of each double bed is solid oak.
Additional points to know:
Products such as chests of drawers, chairs, and TV cabinets are delivered assembled. Beds, tables, and coffee tables are delivered unassembled. However, their assembly is very simple - usually only four screws are needed (see installation). The products are packed in five-layer paper carton with special corner protection.
